About The Books:  A sweet tale about love, family, values and traditions

Twenty-eight-year-old Shweta Menon finds refuge from an abusive husband by working at a Mexican café in the US. She doesn’t know how to tell her parents the truth about her marriage and return to India. But then her brother’s wedding leaves her no choice.

Entrepreneur-chef Niraj (Niru) Karthik is in charge of catering for his best friend’s wedding. He is bursting with nervousness at the thought of meeting his childhood crush. He knows she’s married, but he finds himself drawn to her again.

Shweta has only thought of Niru as her older brother’s best friend, but now she’s falling head over heels in love with him. As both try to come to terms with their true feelings, they realise that a lot more than friendship is at stake.

And then, there’s Shweta’s family: an overbearing father, an over-anxious mother, and three very disparate yet close siblings.

Will Shweta get the love and acceptance she yearns for? Or will upholding family honour be more important?

Review:  The cover of the book is beautifully designed perfectly match with the title and story. The title of the book flawlessly matches with the title. It was joyful wedding tamasha of south India. I enjoyed reading and being part of south Indian wedding along with perfect description of the food. The characters were well defined, and we can easily identify the relations and role of each character. There were no confusions at all. As a reader, Shweta’s character was portrayed very beautifully by the author. She had all the traits in her. She was a strong and courageous woman who can handle every situation unwearyingly. Whether his cruel husband or his angry father or having sweet romance with his childhood friend Niru, she had gracefully handled all the traits. I enjoyed her character a lot. The end was sweetly done with a happy ending. Some parts of the story were dragged too much but we can skip that for a wonderful and joyful narration. The book had all the emotions which one can easily recognize and can have on the readers face as well. Some of the dialogues were so interesting during wedding that we cannot stop ourselves laughing. Overall a nice read and would recommend everyone to read this book, if they are looking for some light read. I was so much engrossed in the book that I completed this book in just few days. All the best author will read other books also.
