Book: Shaadi ke ladoo

Publisher:  Kindle Version

Verdict: ☆☆☆ ½ A romcom and a spicy read with multiple characters. One would enjoy reading each part if the book till the end. I would recommend everyone who are interested to read a romantic comedy.

About the Author When she is not obsessing over food and coffee, laughing over silly jokes, or making travel plans; Chaitali loves to spend her time writing. While she may dislike most things, she absolutely loves it when people read her books. (No, really. She does.)

Blurb Of The Books:   Content with a successful career and comfortable lifestyle, life was going great for Ved Arora. He had no intention to either date or marry; much to the dismay of his meddling family. Until one day he crossed paths with Akira and all hell broke loose. He found himself getting pulled into the chaos because of Akira. Akira was everything that he hated and Ved’s mundane existence did not excite her. Will the battle of sexes continue or will Ved finally succumb and devour the proverbial Shaadi ka laddoo?.

Review:   This was the first book, which I purchased from the Author Chaitali. but I am overly impressed with her narration and Story line. The cover of the book and title urged me to buy the book and read it, and I totally enjoyed reading it. It is a romantic comedy with multiple characters creating spice in the book. But Author’s narration is so flawless that u cannot get confused or bored with so many characters around. Each character created an impact on the reader. Every character’s bond with each other was interesting and lovable to read whether it is between Ved and Vedika or Akira and Ved or Kabir and Ved or Kabir and Vedika and so on. I liked the Romance or small fight angle between Ved and Akira and the Girls proposal in the end was very interesting. It was a pure Bollywood romance and Comedy. This book will surely be enjoyed by all age group who loves to read and wants to read a light comedy. It helps you to understand the meaning of friendship, Love and Family.

Drawback: Certain parts of the story was boring in the latter part which could be avoided like Ved’s cousin marriage part was dragged too long.
