Review: I have started my liking for Kindle reading books and while surfing for a good read, my eyes caught attention to Parminder Kaur book called “The Chutney called marriage”, The cover of the book plus engaging title urged me to purchase the book and read it. So, while going to Delhi during Diwali, I purchased this book for reading in Flight. I started reading and could not control my desire to finish the book at one go as narration was very engaging plus it’s a very small book to read. I loved the concept of a female writing on behalf of husband, and it was very witty. While reading a book, your smile will be intact till you complete the book. All the characters from the husband’s point of view will make you laugh. The Haridwar, Rishikesh trip or Husband’s sister entry all these chapters were so witty that you feel like enjoying a comedy movie. All the characters seemed to be real, and you will be so engrossed in the read that you yourself start thinking about them in front of you. I could not control my laughter on one line by author’s main lead Husband during PTA meeting of the child that it’s beautiful. The climax was emotional. Overall, a good casual read on a short trip. Strongly recommend buying the book and also would love to read other books from the author as well.
Pros: A witty and good entertaining read
Cons: Didn’t find any as I enjoyed the book.
