On the fourth day of Navratri, we worship Maa Kushmanda, the goddess who is believed to have created the universe with her divine smile. She is also called the “Adishakti”, the source of energy and life force. Her name itself means “the one who created the cosmic egg (Anda)”.
She is depicted with eight arms, holding lotus, rosary, bow, arrow, discus, mace, pot of nectar, and a kamandalu. Maa Kushmanda blesses her devotees with health, wealth, and radiance, removing sorrows and filling life with light.
