What’s a movie you expected to hate but ended up loving?

Some movies surprise you in the best way possible. You walk in with zero expectations… and walk out emotionally attached, obsessed with the background music, and recommending it to everyone.
For me, that movie was Dhurandhar.
At first, I honestly thought it would be just another loud masala entertainer with predictable twists. But somewhere between the intense dialogues, emotional moments, and unexpected storytelling, the movie completely changed my mind.
What truly worked was how Dhurandhar balanced raw emotions with powerful screen presence. It didn’t try too hard to impress — and maybe that’s exactly why it did. Some scenes stayed in my mind long after the movie ended, and a few dialogues hit deeper than expected.
Sometimes, the movies we least expect become the ones we connect with the most. And that’s the magic of cinema — it surprises the heart before the mind even realizes it.
