What is your favorite holiday? Why is it your favorite?
Holidays have a special way of touching our soul—they’re not just breaks from routine, they’re moments where life feels softer, warmer, and more meaningful.
For me, my favorite holidays are deeply connected to memories and emotions. As a child, summer holidays were pure magic. Visiting my Nani’s house meant freedom, laughter, and endless joy. No alarms, no school pressure—just simple happiness in little things like playing, eating homemade food, and spending time with family. Those days felt timeless.
As life grew busier and responsibilities took over, the meaning of holidays changed. Now, holidays feel most special when I travel back home during Diwali. Living in Bangalore while my parents are in Delhi makes those visits even more precious. The lights, the warmth, the family time—it’s not just a festival, it’s a feeling of belonging.
And then there are those beautiful moments when I visit my brother in Singapore. Those trips are not just holidays—they are pauses where life slows down, bonds grow stronger, and memories are created all over again.
In the end, my favorite holidays are not about destinations—they are about connection. Whether it’s childhood nostalgia, family love, or soulful reunions, these moments remind me that true happiness lies in being with the people who feel like home.
✧ Soul Thought:
Sometimes, the best holiday is not a place—it’s a feeling of being loved, safe, and at peace. ✧
