Blog of the Day: What Villain Actually Had a Good Point?

We’ve all been taught to cheer for the hero and boo the villain. But every now and then, a villain says something that makes us pause and think…

Not because their actions were right—but because the problem they pointed out was real.

Many fictional villains challenge greed, corruption, inequality, blind traditions, or the abuse of power. Their downfall isn’t always their message—it’s the destructive way they choose to deliver it.

This raises an interesting question for our own lives:

How often do we reject feedback simply because we don’t like the person giving it?

Sometimes, the people who irritate us the most end up revealing our blind spots. A difficult boss may expose our lack of discipline. A critic may highlight an area where we can genuinely improve. An argument may uncover a truth we’ve been avoiding.

Wisdom isn’t about agreeing with someone’s behavior. It’s about being open enough to separate the message from the messenger.

So today’s reflection is simple:

Instead of asking, “Who is right?” ask, “What can I learn?”

Growth begins the moment we become willing to find lessons—even in unexpected places.

Thought of the Day:
“A wrong person can sometimes point toward the right truth. Learn from the lesson, not the behavior.”
