The Movie and Book That Inspired My Dream Trip to Spain
Have you ever watched a movie or read a book that made you want to pack your bags and travel immediately?
For me, that movie is Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and the book is Te Amo… I Love You. Both inspired me to dream about visiting the beautiful country of Spain.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is more than just a travel movie. It celebrates friendship, freedom, courage and the joy of living in the present moment. The breathtaking Spanish roads, colourful festivals, deep-sea diving, skydiving and the famous Tomatina festival made Spain look full of life and adventure.
The movie also shared a beautiful message: life is not meant to be postponed. We often remain busy with responsibilities, fears and future plans, but sometimes we need to pause, breathe and truly experience life.
The book Te Amo… I Love You added an emotional and romantic touch to my dream of Spain. Its title itself carries the warmth and passion that I associate with Spanish culture. It made me imagine quiet streets, charming cafés, soulful conversations, beautiful architecture and evenings filled with music.
I have not visited Spain yet, but it continues to be one of my biggest dream destinations. I would love to explore Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and the beautiful Spanish countryside. I want to experience the culture, taste the food, watch a flamenco performance and create memories that stay with me forever.
Sometimes, travel begins long before we board a flight. It begins with a scene that touches our heart, a story that awakens our imagination or a dream that refuses to fade.
Spain is still waiting on my travel wish list—but one day, I hope to say:
“Te amo, Spain. I finally made it!”
