A Week of Inner Reset, Karmic Release & Intelligent New Beginnings

The week of 6th September to 12th September 2026 carries a fascinating combination of strength and introspection.

Several planets are powerfully placed: the Sun is in its own sign Leo, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, Venus is in its own sign Libra, while Mercury enters its exaltation sign Virgo on 8th September. Normally, such planetary strength would encourage expansion, confidence, clarity and achievement.

But there is another side to the story.

Mercury remains combust, Saturn is retrograde, Rahu and Ketu are retrograde, and the Moon continues to lose light until the Amavasya/New Moon in Leo on 11th September. Therefore, this is not simply a week to rush forward.

It is a week to review, release, reorganise and then rebuild.

Major Planetary Transits of the Week

Sun in Leo – Purva Phalguni Nakshatra:
The Sun in its own sign strengthens confidence, leadership, creativity and the desire to receive recognition. Purva Phalguni adds themes of pleasure, relationships, creativity and self-worth. The lesson is to enjoy success without allowing ego to control decisions.

Mars in Gemini – Punarvasu Nakshatra:
Mars energises speech, communication, travel, networking and ideas. Punarvasu brings the power of returning, correcting and rebuilding. Something that did not work earlier may get another chance—but aggressive communication should be avoided.

Mercury Combust – Leo to Virgo:
Mercury begins the week combust in Leo and moves into Virgo on 8th September, where Mercury becomes exceptionally strong by sign. Analytical ability, planning, organisation and problem-solving improve considerably. However, because Mercury remains combust, double-check emails, documents, numbers, agreements and promises before finalising anything.

Jupiter in Cancer – Ashlesha Nakshatra:
Exalted Jupiter brings emotional wisdom, protection, nurturing energy and opportunities for growth. Ashlesha, however, works beneath the surface. Emotional boundaries, family patterns, hidden motives and psychological attachments may require deeper understanding.

Venus in Libra – Chitra to Swati:
Venus is strong in its own sign Libra, supporting relationships, beauty, diplomacy and social connections. Until 11th September, Chitra encourages improvement and rebuilding. From 12th September, Venus moves into Swati, creating a greater desire for independence, emotional breathing space and relationships based on equality rather than control.

Saturn Retrograde in Pisces – Revati Nakshatra:
Saturn retrograde asks us to revisit unfinished responsibilities. Revati is connected with completion, journeys and transitions. Something must be completed properly before the next chapter begins.

Rahu in Aquarius – Dhanishta & Ketu in Leo – Magha:
Rahu pushes collective ambition, networking, technology and unconventional thinking. Ketu in Magha can detach us from titles, recognition and old ego patterns. It can also bring ancestral or karmic matters to the surface.

Panchang & Moon Energy of the Week

6th September – Moon in Gemini, Ardra

The week begins with mentally active but somewhat unsettled energy. Ardra can bring emotional storms before clarity. Avoid reacting immediately to upsetting information.

7th September – Punarvasu

Punarvasu brings restoration after Ardra. It is a beautiful energy for prayer, spiritual discipline, forgiveness and trying again with greater wisdom.

8th September – Moon in Cancer, Pushya

Pushya is nurturing and spiritually supportive. Mercury also enters Virgo, making this an excellent day for planning, organising, analysing and correcting work—although combustion advises careful verification.

9th September – Ashlesha

Ashlesha encourages psychological insight but can create overthinking, emotional attachment or suspicion. Observe more and react less. The Panchang also carries Krishna Trayodashi energy as the Moon continues moving toward Amavasya.

10th September – Moon in Leo, Magha

Magha connects strongly with ancestors, lineage, authority and personal dignity. With Ketu already influencing Leo, questions about recognition, pride and inherited family patterns may arise.

11th September – New Moon/Amavasya in Leo

This is the most important energetic turning point of the week.

The Amavasya occurs in Leo with Purva Phalguni influence, while Ketu remains in Leo in Magha. The combination can encourage a deep release of old identity patterns, ego attachments, romantic expectations and the need for external validation.

Use this day more for reflection, prayer, ancestral remembrance and emotional release than for forcing major new beginnings. Panchang calculations show Amavasya giving way to Shukla Pratipada during the day.

12th September – Moon in Virgo, Uttara Phalguni

A new lunar cycle begins, but the Moon is still very close to the Sun and therefore emotionally delicate. Uttara Phalguni is excellent for responsibility, agreements and sustainable partnerships.

Venus entering Swati additionally asks:
Can I love someone without losing myself? Can I cooperate without surrendering my individuality?

Now, let us see what this week brings for each zodiac sign.

Aries

This week places considerable emphasis on creativity, relationships, communication and personal goals.

Mars in your third house gives you courage to speak, initiate conversations and take action. Rahu in the eleventh house can expand networks and introduce useful professional connections. However, the Sun, Ketu and the New Moon influence your fifth house, making matters involving romance, children, creativity or personal validation emotionally sensitive.

You may suddenly realise that you have been seeking appreciation from someone who cannot give it in the way you need.

Mercury moving into Virgo from 8th September improves your ability to handle work, schedules, documentation and practical problems.

In relationships, Venus in the seventh house is supportive. Singles may attract interesting connections, while couples can improve harmony through mature conversation.

Career: Networking and communication bring opportunities.
Finance: Stable, but avoid speculative risks.
Love: Positive overall, although expectations need adjustment.
Well-being: Give your mind regular breaks from excessive stimulation.

Remedy: Offer water to the rising Sun every morning and chant “Om Suryaya Namah” 11 times.

Taurus

Career matters remain extremely important this week.

Rahu in your tenth house continues to make you ambitious and may push you toward a different professional direction. Saturn retrograde in your eleventh house shows that long-term gains are developing slowly—but steadily.

The Sun and Ketu influencing your fourth house can create emotional restlessness regarding home, family or your sense of security.

The good news is Mercury entering Virgo activates your fifth house, supporting intelligent decision-making, learning, interviews, creativity and strategic thinking.

Jupiter in the third house increases confidence in communication and networking.

The Moon’s journey gradually shifts your attention from finances toward communication, home and eventually creative matters.

Career: Stay visible but avoid unnecessary politics.
Finance: Watch impulsive purchases.
Love: Communicate affection instead of assuming your partner already knows.
Family: Some emotional distance may require gentle conversation.

Remedy: On Friday, offer white flowers to Goddess Lakshmi and chant “Om Shum Shukraya Namah” 16 times.

Gemini

This can be an action-packed week for you.

Mars travelling through Gemini gives enormous motivation, confidence and drive—but can also make you impatient. Your words may come out much faster than your emotional filter!

Jupiter in your second house supports financial planning, family development and the ability to create more stable resources.

Venus in the fifth house is wonderful for creativity, romance and social enjoyment.

Meanwhile, Saturn retrograde in your tenth house asks you to review career responsibilities. Some professional issue that you believed was finished may return for correction.

Mercury, your ruling planet, moving into Virgo on 8th September helps you reorganise your home, thoughts and emotional priorities.

Your biggest challenge this week is simple: do not turn every disagreement into a debate you need to win.

Career: Productive but demanding.
Finance: Gradual improvement possible.
Love: Attractive energy; singles may receive attention.
Health: Avoid nervous exhaustion and irregular sleep.

Remedy: On Wednesday, donate green moong and chant “Om Bum Budhaya Namah” 21 times.

Cancer

Cancer natives receive strong support from exalted Jupiter travelling through your own sign.

This can bring growth in confidence, wisdom and emotional maturity. People may increasingly look toward you for guidance.

However, Mars in your twelfth house can increase expenses, disturbed sleep or mental restlessness.

Sun and Ketu influencing your second house advise caution with speech. You may say something correctly but in a tone that creates unnecessary conflict.

Mercury’s movement into Virgo from 8th September improves communication, paperwork, short journeys and professional networking.

Venus in your fourth house supports home comfort, relationships with family and property-related discussions.

The Moon’s movement through Cancer in the middle of the week makes you especially intuitive—but Ashlesha can increase emotional sensitivity.

Career: Use communication and networking strategically.
Finance: Control unnecessary expenses.
Love: Emotional honesty brings greater intimacy.
Family: Avoid harsh words.
Well-being: Prioritise peaceful sleep and emotional boundaries.

Remedy: On Thursday, offer yellow flowers or turmeric to Lord Vishnu or Guru Brihaspati and chant “Om Gurave Namah.”

Leo

This is one of the most personally significant weeks for Leo natives.

The Sun is strong in your sign, giving confidence and visibility—but Ketu is also present in Leo, creating an interesting contradiction.

One part of you wants recognition. Another part may suddenly wonder, “Do I even care about proving myself anymore?”

The New Moon in Leo on 11th September makes this an important personal reset.

You may rethink your appearance, identity, goals, relationships or the role you have been playing for others.

Mars in the eleventh house can activate networks and professional gains. Venus in the third encourages communication, creativity and travel.

Rahu in the seventh house makes relationships unpredictable. Avoid attracting connections purely because they are exciting or unusual.

Jupiter in the twelfth house supports spirituality, foreign connections and inner healing, but expenses should be monitored.

Career: Good networking potential.
Finance: Avoid emotional spending.
Love: Relationships may reveal karmic lessons.
Personal growth: Major identity reset underway.

Remedy: Offer water to Surya every morning. On Amavasya, spend some quiet time remembering and expressing gratitude toward your ancestors.

Virgo

One chapter is closing and another is quietly opening.

The New Moon takes place in your twelfth house, highlighting release, solitude, subconscious patterns and emotional closure.

You may feel more tired than usual around 10th–12th September. Respect your body’s signals rather than fighting them.

The big positive development is Mercury entering Virgo on 8th September. Mercury becomes extremely powerful in your sign, improving intelligence, planning ability, observation and communication.

Because Mercury remains combust, however, excellent ideas may require more time before they can be communicated perfectly.

Mars in your tenth house strongly activates career. Jupiter in the eleventh supports professional gains, networks and helpful people.

Rahu in the sixth house increases your ability to overcome competition—but don’t create unnecessary conflicts simply because you know you can win them.

Career: One of the strongest signs this week professionally.
Finance: Gains possible through work and networking.
Love: Saturn retrograde asks you to review relationship responsibilities.
Health: Prioritise rest around Amavasya.

Remedy: Chant “Om Bum Budhaya Namah” 21 times on Wednesday and donate green vegetables or green moong.

Libra

Venus travelling through your own sign makes you naturally magnetic this week.

Your charm, diplomacy and ability to bring people together are strengthened.

Even better, exalted Jupiter travelling through your tenth house is highly supportive for career growth, recognition and professional responsibility.

This combination can bring important conversations with seniors, clients or influential people.

However, Sun and Ketu in your eleventh house may make you reconsider certain friendships or professional associations. You may realise that a group you once wanted to belong to no longer matches your values.

Mercury moving into the twelfth house from 8th September suggests keeping certain plans confidential until they are ready.

Venus enters Swati on 12th September, increasing your need for personal freedom.

Career: Excellent potential for visibility and responsibility.
Finance: Positive, though luxury spending may rise.
Love: Strong attraction, but maintain healthy space.
Social life: Quality matters more than quantity.

Remedy: Light a ghee diya for Goddess Lakshmi on Friday and chant “Om Shreem Mahalakshmyai Namah.”

Scorpio

Career remains a major focus.

Sun and Ketu influence your tenth house, which can bring an unusual professional situation. You may receive recognition yet simultaneously feel detached from it.

For some Scorpios, this can trigger serious questions about career direction.

Mercury moves from your tenth to eleventh house, supporting networking, gains and strategic professional discussions.

Exalted Jupiter in your ninth house offers protection through mentors, teachers, higher learning, spirituality or long-distance opportunities.

Mars in the eighth house requires caution. Avoid unnecessary arguments, risky decisions and impulsive financial commitments.

Venus in the twelfth house can increase expenditure on comfort, travel, relationships or luxury.

The Moon’s movement from deeper emotional houses toward your career and gains houses suggests the week becomes gradually more outward-focused.

Career: Important realisation or redirection possible.
Finance: Be cautious with joint money.
Love: Emotional intimacy needs honesty.
Spirituality: Very supportive week for deeper study.

Remedy: Recite the Hanuman Chalisa on Tuesday and avoid reacting immediately when angry.

Sagittarius

Your professional energy improves significantly after 8th September.

Mercury enters your tenth house in Virgo, supporting strategy, interviews, presentations, negotiations and problem-solving.

Venus in your eleventh house can support gains through friends, networks and professional contacts.

Mars in the seventh house, however, can create heated arguments in partnerships. This applies to both personal relationships and business partnerships.

Sun and Ketu in your ninth house may make you question beliefs, mentors or long-held ideas. This is not necessarily negative—it may simply be time to build your own understanding.

Jupiter in the eighth house encourages psychological and spiritual transformation rather than immediate external expansion.

Saturn retrograde in your fourth house may bring old home or family responsibilities back into focus.

Career: Stronger after 8th September.
Finance: Networking can bring opportunities.
Love: Avoid turning differences into battles.
Family: Old responsibilities may need attention.

Remedy: On Thursday, donate yellow dal or bananas and chant “Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah” 11 times.

Capricorn

This week combines career strength with deep internal transformation.

Venus travelling through your tenth house is excellent for professional relationships, reputation and diplomacy.

Jupiter exalted in your seventh house is supportive for partnerships, clients, business associations and relationships.

Mars in your sixth house strengthens your competitive ability. If there is a challenge at work, you are capable of handling it.

However, Sun, Ketu and the New Moon influence your eighth house. Shared finances, emotional trust, hidden information or old psychological patterns may require attention.

Avoid forcing clarity around 10th–11th September. Some answers are still developing.

Mercury entering your ninth house from 8th September supports education, travel, mentorship and strategic planning.

Career: Positive and potentially rewarding.
Finance: Avoid careless decisions involving loans or shared assets.
Love: Good support from Jupiter; deeper trust is needed.
Personal growth: Powerful inner transformation.

Remedy: On Saturday evening, light a sesame-oil diya and chant “Om Sham Shanicharaya Namah” 11 times.

Aquarius

Relationships become one of your biggest themes this week.

Rahu travelling through Aquarius continues to reshape your identity, ambitions and personal direction.

Meanwhile, Sun, Ketu and the New Moon activate your seventh house of relationships and partnerships.

This can create a karmic turning point.

A relationship may need a fresh foundation. You may realise where ego, dependency or unrealistic expectations have been affecting a connection.

This does not automatically indicate separation. For healthy relationships, it can actually create space for greater honesty.

Jupiter in your sixth house supports improvement through disciplined routines, while Venus in your ninth house helps travel, learning and spiritual exploration.

Mars in your fifth house adds passion but can make romantic conversations dramatic.

Saturn retrograde in the second house asks you to become more responsible with finances and speech.

Career: Work improves through discipline.
Finance: Review long-term spending patterns.
Love: Major week for relationship awareness.
Health: Maintain routine rather than chasing quick fixes.

Remedy: Pray to Goddess Durga and chant “Om Dum Durgaye Namah” 21 times, especially when feeling mentally unsettled.

Pisces

Saturn retrograde continues its journey through Pisces, making this a period of maturity, restructuring and personal responsibility.

You may sometimes feel that life is moving slowly, but Saturn is asking you to create foundations that will actually last.

The good news is exalted Jupiter in your fifth house. This is supportive for creativity, education, children, spiritual wisdom and intelligent decision-making.

Mercury moves into your seventh house on 8th September, making partnerships and relationship conversations more important.

Because Mercury remains combust, do not assume that every conversation has been completely understood. Clarify.

Sun and Ketu in the sixth house can help you detach from unnecessary conflict, although workplace politics should be handled intelligently.

Venus in the eighth house deepens emotional intimacy but may also highlight shared financial matters.

Mars in your fourth house can create impatience at home.

Career: Stay organised and consistent.
Finance: Review shared expenses.
Love: Important conversations are possible after 8th September.
Personal growth: Jupiter provides wisdom while Saturn provides maturity.

Remedy: On Thursday, chant “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya” 21 times and offer yellow flowers to Lord Vishnu.

Most Important Message of the Week

This week teaches us something beautiful:

Strength does not always mean immediate action.

The Sun is powerful.
Jupiter is powerful.
Venus is powerful.
Mercury becomes powerful.

And yet the Moon is disappearing into Amavasya.

Sometimes the universe gives us strength not to run forward—but to finally release what we no longer need.

The first half of the week is excellent for reviewing, clearing, correcting and completing.

The 11th September Amavasya is ideal for quiet reflection, prayer, ancestral gratitude and releasing emotional baggage.

From 12th September, a new lunar cycle begins. But because the Moon is still very close to the Sun, allow new plans to develop gently rather than demanding instant results.

General Remedy for the Week

On the evening of 11th September:

  • Sit quietly for a few minutes.
  • Light a diya if appropriate to your spiritual practice.
  • Express gratitude toward your ancestors and teachers.
  • Release one resentment you no longer wish to carry.
  • Write down one behaviour or emotional pattern you are ready to leave behind.
  • Begin the new lunar cycle with a simple intention rather than a long wish list.

Weekly affirmation:

“I release what has completed its purpose. I trust my inner wisdom, communicate with clarity and welcome the new chapter unfolding for me.”

May this week bring you clarity, emotional wisdom and the courage to choose what truly aligns with your path.
