If My Pet Could Talk, What Would Be the First Thing He Says?
Sometimes I look at my little poodle, Choco, and wonder what goes on inside that cute, fluffy head.
If Choco could suddenly talk for one day, I don’t think he would begin with anything emotional or philosophical.
His first sentence would probably be:
“Excuse me… why are you eating something without giving me a bite?” 😂🐩
Because according to Choco, every meal in the house is obviously a shared meal.
The moment I open a packet, enter the kitchen, or sit down with something tasty, he magically appears. No invitation needed. His eyes immediately start giving me that famous dog expression:
“I have not eaten in approximately 200 years.”
And of course, he probably ate just a little while ago!
After demanding food, I imagine Choco would have many complaints ready.
“Why do you leave the house without taking me?”
“Why do humans take so many photos before giving treats?”
“And most importantly… why are you sitting in MY favourite place on the sofa?” 😄
But somewhere between all his funny demands, Choco would probably say something very sweet too:
“Wherever you go, I just want to be around you.”
That is the beautiful thing about pets. They may not speak our language, but they communicate every single day—with their eyes, tail wags, excitement, cuddles, tiny tantrums and unconditional love.
Maybe our pets don’t actually need words.
We already know what they are saying.
And Choco?
I’m pretty sure his message is simple:
“Love me, cuddle me, feed me… and please remember that everything in this house belongs to me.” 🐾😂
Thought of the Day
Sometimes the purest conversations are the ones that happen without words.
Now tell me—if your pet could talk, what would be the FIRST thing they would say? 🐶🐱🐾
