A Place That Felt Like Home — Indore 💜

Have you ever visited a city for the first time and strangely felt as though you already belonged there?

For me, that place was Indore.

Sometimes, feeling at home has very little to do with where we were born or how long we have lived somewhere. It is simply about the energy of a place — the people, the conversations, the little moments and the comfort we feel without trying too hard.

Indore gave me that feeling.

There is something beautifully welcoming about the city. It has the liveliness of a growing urban centre, yet somewhere beneath all that movement, it still carries warmth and simplicity.

And of course, you cannot talk about Indore without talking about food! 😄 From poha and jalebi to the irresistible street-food culture, the city certainly knows how to win your heart through your stomach.

But what stayed with me more than the food or the places was the feeling.

Some destinations become memories.

Some become photographs.

And then there are a few places that quietly become a part of your heart.

Indore felt familiar. Comfortable. Warm. Almost like home.

Maybe home is not always an address.

Sometimes, home is simply the place where your heart unexpectedly says:

“I could belong here.” ❤️
