What Are Your Strategies for SEO?

SEO—Search Engine Optimization—can sometimes sound complicated. Keywords, backlinks, algorithms, rankings, AI search…the list keeps growing.

But my approach to SEO is actually quite simple:

Create something genuinely useful first, and optimize it intelligently second.

Search engines are evolving, but people are still searching because they have a question, problem, curiosity, or need. A good SEO strategy begins by understanding that person.

1. Write for People, Not Just Search Engines

My first strategy is always to create content that offers real value.

Instead of asking only, “What keyword will rank?” I prefer asking:

“What will my reader actually gain from this?”

A blog should educate, guide, inspire, answer a question, solve a problem, or provide a fresh perspective.

Google itself continues to emphasize helpful, reliable and people-first content rather than articles created mainly to manipulate rankings.

2. Choose the Right Keywords

Keywords still matter, but stuffing the same keyword into every paragraph does not.

I prefer using:

One primary keyword for the main topic, along with several related and long-tail keywords.

For example, instead of targeting only:

Tarot Reading

I may also use:

  • online tarot reading
  • tarot guidance for relationships
  • tarot reading for career
  • daily tarot guidance
  • professional tarot reader

Long-tail keywords often represent exactly what a reader is searching for.

3. Answer Specific Questions

People increasingly search using complete questions.

Instead of typing:

Numerology 7

someone may search:

What does birth number 7 mean in numerology?

That is why question-based headings can be very powerful.

Think about what your audience is asking, and create content that answers those questions clearly.

4. Create Original Content

One of my strongest SEO strategies is originality.

Thousands of websites may explain the same subject, but your experience, perspective, examples and interpretation can make your content different.

If I am writing about Tarot, astrology, relationships, spirituality or personal development, I would rather add insight and personal expertise than simply repeat information already available everywhere.

Original value becomes even more important as AI-generated content becomes common. Google advises creators using generative AI to maintain accuracy, quality, relevance and genuine added value.

5. Optimize Titles and Headings

A strong headline should tell both the reader and the search engine exactly what the article is about.

Instead of:

Some Thoughts About Tarot

try:

7 Tarot Questions to Ask When You Feel Confused About a Relationship

It is specific, searchable and interesting.

Use clear H1, H2 and H3 headings throughout longer articles so readers can easily scan the content.

6. Strengthen Internal Linking

Whenever possible, connect one blog to another relevant article on your website.

For example:

A blog about Mercury Retrograde could link to an article about communication problems in relationships.

A Tarot article could link to your Tarot consultation page.

A numerology article could link to your birth-number guides.

Internal links help readers discover more of your work and help search engines understand how your content is connected.

7. Optimize Images

Images can also support SEO.

I use:

  • descriptive file names
  • meaningful alt text
  • compressed images for faster loading
  • visually relevant images

For example, instead of uploading:

IMG4567.jpg

I might name it:

seven-of-cups-tarot-card-meaning.jpg

Simple details can make a difference.

8. Focus on User Experience

Getting someone to click is only half the job.

Once they reach your page, can they comfortably read it?

A good website should be:

fast, mobile-friendly, uncluttered and easy to navigate.

Page experience remains part of Google’s recommended SEO approach, including for AI-powered search experiences.

9. Build Authority Through Consistency

SEO rarely gives instant results.

Publishing one article and disappearing for three months is unlikely to build strong topical authority.

Consistency matters.

If your expertise is Tarot, astrology, healing, relationships, psychology or numerology, regularly publishing useful content around those subjects helps establish what your website represents.

Over time, you create a library of knowledge rather than isolated posts.

10. Think Beyond Traditional Google Search

SEO is changing.

People now discover information through Google Search, AI Overviews, AI Mode, social media, YouTube, voice search and AI assistants.

Interestingly, Google says that the fundamentals required for traditional SEO still apply to its generative AI search features—there is no special secret markup required simply to appear there.

So instead of chasing every new SEO trend, I would concentrate on creating content that is:

Clear. Original. Helpful. Structured. Trustworthy. Easy to understand.

My SEO Formula

My basic SEO strategy can be summarised as:

Search Intent + Quality Content + Smart Keywords + Original Expertise + Technical SEO + Consistency = Sustainable Visibility

SEO is not about tricking an algorithm.

It is about making it easier for the right person to discover the right piece of your content at the right moment.

And perhaps that is the most important SEO strategy of all:

Don’t just aim to rank. Aim to become worth finding.
